Caught up in the nine to five

Still seeking the sustainable dream

Entwining the two…

A spider’s web of deceit

For time ever moving

A vortex in the abyss

of one's soul

Alas, mere perception 

Pauses in the creative flow

Like a lasso to the moon

The kraken's tentacle pulls

Gravity beckons

And for just a moment

I’ve lost the muse

Yet, the artist within

 still resides

Dancing the wanton path

Waltzing high

In homage to reverie

A symphony at play

Hear the Koto sing

Hidden hues still sought

Splashes of color

This collaboration started as an idea to tap into our animal instincts through our movements. This dance and poem are our sweet declaration that we are one with nature, setting free the animal within.

Within me flows the river of life
I am the feathers on the Eagle
I am the breath of the Lion
The heart of the Crow

In me, the Snake finds refuge
Under my arms, the Finch is free

Look into my cat-looking eyes
You will see your soul unveiled
In the depths of my mind
You will find the wisdom of the Owl
My voice is the Tiger’s roar

Can you hear it?
Can you sense it all?

Can you feel the animal within?

ABOUT THE COLLAB
Music Collab

When writing this song, I felt that we are often seeking answers outside of ourselves. I even created a portal to connect with an animal spirit based on my book, My Fauna Within, to receive a message to guide us in our lives. But ultimately, we are the ones that hold the answers. We surely can get validation from outside sources, but our hearts know best. Whisper It is a reflection of the animal spirit world, assuring us that as long as we are honest with ourselves, we can find clarity in the answers that are already ours to know.

Dean Clark did an exemplary job with this song. His voice is outstanding and the emotions he carries with each tune can’t help but make one feel uplifted. Collaborating with Dean was Godsend, as we both felt an immediate connection through the love of animal spirits. Dean is such a talented musician and highly cares for the well-being of every person, challenging healing vibrations through his musical gifts. Noemi :))

Music Collab

As part of my voyage into self-discovery, I create a weekly Meditation from single-feeling word contributions, given to me by strangers on Instagram. I find the process so enlightening, reaching the depths of parts of me that remain hidden until discovered through this process of self-inquiry.

Recently, the phrase “Nostalgic Yellow” was created and I was struck by the feelings coming through from this expression.

Around the same time, Noemi @noemi.creativesouls asked if we might like to produce something together and of course, I said absolutely!

I asked Noemi what she thought of the idea of “Nostalgic Yellow”! The phrase was created through one of my Meditations.

Noemi shared this amazing song idea with me and some truly beautiful lyrics.

When I first heard what Noemi had written, I was immediately struck by the timeless emotion of these ideas…

Like the way love is felt even long after people have gone from our lives…

And so there was a feeling of being somewhere in-between the immediacy of joy and the remembrance of it…

This became the filter through which Noemi’s original idea was fed as I built up the instrumentation to expand on this idea.

We asked Kai @kuusound if she’d like to record Noemi’s original vocals…

All I can say really is that with every soul that touched this project, it became elevated in ways I don’t think any of us individually could have anticipated.

Florida > United Kingdom > Transylvania … there are quite a few miles between us all and yet I feel like we have been so connected by the writing of this song!

Even more special perhaps is the understanding of how this song speaks differently to each of us and yet forms a common understanding.

We both wanted to do something representing the Moon, being that both of our names mean moon goddess. We also wanted to find an image that showcased the moon and two souls/lovers across the sea/distance. Kuu Sound was absolutely wonderful to collaborate with. She is so kind and truly so very talented. Her music is so ethereal and chill and her vocals, magical. She pieced together my poem and transformed it into a beautiful song. Lynn

I really liked Lynn’s voice as it sounds unique & mysterious or has a mystical essence to it. For the Better Days track, she kind of built her poem around the vocals that were already there. “I started out on this idea in April 2021 and it immediately had me in a rhythmic trance; I envisioned people dancing around a big bonfire: the sounds remind me of the group Deelite, Bjork, Little Dragon, and stereo lab which is right up my musical alley and I also wanted to stretch my musical mind and have a different sound as a producer; I knew it would need vocals at some point and later all pieces started to align to make it happen. I later found out about Kailani via Bassronin and approached her about collaborating on this and tagged her in the post and she was on board with it. Kuu spent some time with it and what she added was magic.” Mrgroovology

Originally starting as a YouTube comedian and entertainer, Stephen has spent more than a decade transforming his crafts within the commercial, digital, film, and television spaces to become a content marketer, multimedia project coordinator, talented media personality, and performer.

Stephen was a Guinness World Record Holder for having the most straws in his hair at one time. He has also done an official TEDx talk.

Stephen’s expertise goes beyond being in front of the camera. He has honed key skills in graphic design, marketing, photography, social media, and video production, creating web shows, short films, and podcasts. He’s also used these skills to embark on projects and strategies with other artists, celebrities, and organizations, including Alessandra Sironi, Billiam, CAROLENA, Chris Jericho, Chris Van Vilet, Jessica Collado, Mike SB, The Cliff Floyd Foundation, Tony Hawk, and others.

Stephen is an author of his three critically acclaimed comedy books Fifty Ridiculous Drawings and Funny Sayings in Less Than Fifty Pages, Young Face Stories and Other Awkward Tales and Mini: A Book of Short Thoughts.
