I find your pretty eyes Illuminate my nights
Melting in your looks
You make my heart go woof
My furry friend you are
Inspiring my whole life
At times when I feel blue
You make my soul shine through
Wagging your tail in excitement
Barking at the top of your lungs
Oh my rascal friend
With you all days are fun
Curious as a cat
The best guard dog there is

‘Save me, Sálvame’ is a song for which the lyrics were written by Rob Burkhard and Noemi Capote. Surprising each other, every time again, with new lines in English or Spanish, the song took its own course and grew into a track about the loss of loved ones. A song, also, that would definitely need two voices.

Maje, a talented singer from Venezuela, became involved in the recording of this song. Sound engineer, Pablo Peña, mixed the recordings together and made this song into a duet.

Another wound has been opened
Another cross for the world to bear

Another time is frozen
And it seems that they just don’t care

How many times
can the world sustain
Devastation and pain?

Now bombs are dropping
How can they do this
again and again?

Are we insane?
Can’t we refrain?

This wheel keeps
Growing and growing
Going and going
Hurting anything
that gets in its way

It seems that
Empathy’s stolen
Something’s
been holding it
hostage and hidden away

Another merciless soldier
Another child
screaming in despair

Another country is broken
Flames and fear
roaming in the air

How many times
can the world sustain
Devastation and pain?

But we’ll just
keep on hoping
That some peace
will come again

Are we insane?
Can’t we refrain?

Empathy is a song inspired by the war that broke out in Ukraine. Fast forward to 2023, and we are yet witnessing another war. When would it end? Kuu Sound and Noemi Capote highlighted some painful realities that are too hard to ignore. This song is our plea for peace, and we hope it fills everyone’s heart with hope. This collaboration started as an idea to tap into our animal instincts through our movements. This dance and poem are our sweet declaration that we are one with nature, setting free the animal within.

Within me flows the river of life
I am the feathers on the Eagle
I am the breath of the Lion
The heart of the Crow

In me, the Snake finds refuge
Under my arms, the Finch is free

Look into my cat-looking eyes
You will see your soul unveiled
In the depths of my mind
You will find the wisdom of the Owl
My voice is the Tiger’s roar

Can you hear it?
Can you sense it all?

Can you feel the animal within?
