This collaboration started as an idea to tap into our animal instincts through our movements. This dance and poem are our sweet declaration that we are one with nature, setting free the animal within.

Within me flows the river of life I am the feathers on the Eagle I am the breath of the Lion The heart of the Crow In me, the Snake finds refuge Under my arms, the Finch is free Look into my cat-looking eyes You will see your soul unveiled In the depths of my mind You will find the wisdom of the Owl My voice is the Tiger’s roar Can you hear it? There is nothing more liberating than dancing. To dance is to allow the essence of our Creative Souls to emerge. Dancers like Clinton Harris, best known as Tazz, are here to show us the true meaning of dancing. He is the personification of courage and positivism through the most spirited performances.

Tazz was born and raised in Miami, and he is a professional dancer, choreographer, and physical expression performer. Tazz has trained in jazz, ballet, contemporary, acro, and tumbling. He discovered his passion for dancing at an early age, and during a summer camp, dancing stuck with him.

Watching Tazz perform is exhilarating. There’s a sense of fierceness, authority, and beauty, with the perfect balance of female and male energy. Undoubtedly, Tazz will make your jaw drop.

Tazz is a gentle soul – a kind, humble, and loving person who is doing what he knows best, displaying the beauty of man, and creating his journey through the art of dancing. Tazz feels that there are too many fights going on between each other. There’s a connection to love through his dancing, bringing us together to be there for each other and not against.

We could have the privilege of taking a dance class with Tazz at the Dance Center of Florida. The dance studio environment is so essential for Tazz, meeting his students halfway with a positive attitude. He teaches them the importance of trusting in oneself, taking the opportunity to drop the ego, let go of all the concerns, the troubles, the frustrations, and just dance. Continuous training and video concepts are part of Tazz’s creative journey. He says that it is crucial to take the time to think things through with anything that we desire to accomplish. Waiting is the hardest part, but it is a necessary standstill. It allows us to ask the right questions to move forward with positive results.

Being himself through his awe-inspiring performances is vital for Tazz, and when he takes over the dance floor, you can feel his radiant energy touch the pores of your skin and transcend your mind to a dimension of joy. Tazz is a spectacular dancer who is brightening our lives, and filling our hearts with hope.

Tazz can dance at any time, anywhere, and to anything. He is passionate about telling the story of the black and gay community through his fervent performances. He’s collaborating with family and friends, freeing their Creative Souls to produce wholehearted videos that carry a message of acceptance, union, confidence, respect, and love.
