“I started out on this idea in April 2021 and it immediately had me in a rhythmic trance; I envisioned people dancing around a big bonfire: the sounds remind me of the group Deelite, Bjork, Little Dragon, and stereo lab which is right up my musical alley and I also wanted to stretch my musical mind and have a different sound as a producer; I knew it would need vocals at some point and later all pieces started to align to make it happen. I later found out about Kailani via Bassronin and approached her about collaborating on this and tagged her in the post and she was on board with it.
