The Architect

James and Kuu Sound joined forces to write a song for James’ latest book writing project “The Book of Unfinished Feelings”. After a really fascinating chat about emotions and music, James and Kuu swapped a few musical ideas back and forth before landing a shared passion for re-imaging a song that James had written many years prior. It quickly became apparent that the synergy between these two musicians was to create something wholly unexpected, giving rise to a sound that was neither entirely Kuu, nor James, but something new and incredibly emotive. James describes the introduction of Kuu’s vocals as like a key unlocking a whole new identity and presence for the track.*
