DEBORAH MALLOW

To smile is free, but smiling doesn’t necessarily mean we are happy. In a world full of challenges, happiness can sometimes feel out of reach. Creative Soul, Deborah Mallow is here to guide us toward joy by facing the uncomfortable parts of our reality and making clear decisions about what serves us and what does not. Deborah reminds us that happiness is not an illusion—it’s a daily choice.

Deborah Mallow is a mindset coach, writer, and author from the Big Apple. She’s the founder of The Daily Decisions™ and has appeared on numerous podcasts, radio stations, morning news shows, and TV segments across the country. Her social media is pure joy. A ray of sunshine, she has a clever way of presenting herself—wearing her signature sunray crown and lighting up the screen with warmth, positivity, and words of wisdom.

During her long career as a #1 biotech sales representative year after year in a division of Johnson & Johnson, Deborah achieved tremendous success. However, the constant stress, negative emotions, and pressure of perfectionism eventually led to burnout. Living constantly on the go without checking in with her internal compass made her realize it was time for a change.

Deborah began writing about the lessons she had learned along the way, openly sharing her struggles and desires. Through this process, she developed self-help strategies to break free from the rigid mindset that had prevented her from experiencing joy and fulfillment in her life. This process awakened a renewed sense of hope in her heart, and she discovered a newfound purpose: To be a guiding star for those feeling unbalanced and struggling to find happiness in their lives. Encouraged by friends to share this with others, Deborah set out to write a book and use it as a platform to support people who feel burned out, stuck, uncertain about where to begin, and unsure of how to move forward.

On May 13, 2025, Deborah published her debut book, 6 Steps To Fewer Days That Suck | Ditch Unhealthy Habits, Unzip A Happier You. This book is a guide to gaining clarity about what we truly want, embracing personal growth, and overcoming the patterns of self-sabotage that hold us back. Her steps incorporate life skills that build confidence, resilience, and self-trust. Deborah says: “Controlling the inner balance is key, and we can’t take things personally.” She invites us to be honest with ourselves and consider how our responsibilities, routines, habits, and relationships make us feel. The book includes exercises and actionable recommendations, along with complimentary downloadable worksheets, checklists, and feel-good activities.

Deborah’s journey is rooted in giving back, building self-confidence, and fostering a positive attitude. She works with corporations to help employees set goals, find balance, and avoid burnout, nurturing overall well-being. She teaches people how to protect their energy and become their best selves, even in times of stress.

Deborah is also passionate about supporting young souls, helping them, in her words, “develop self-trust, fight negativity, and empower their inner strength as a means of becoming kinder adults.” Happiness can certainly be achieved in the midst of unsettling circumstances, but it requires effort and determination. Clarity about what we want is key, and Deborah shares tools that help us overcome the emotional challenges we face. Deborah’s platform offers fun and practical steps toward becoming a healthier, more balanced version of ourselves. She motivates us to believe in ourselves with love and kindness and to ditch our unhelpful habits to better experience life from a place of joy and greater self-awareness, so we feel happier with our Daily Decisions.

It’s all about helping each other become kinder adults. When you feel good about yourself, you’re better able to be kind to others.” -Deborah Mallow
