TESTIMONIAL
“My heartfelt gratitude and admiration for the exceptional program, Movement & Flow, offered by Creative Kids at our school. As the assistant principal at Somerset Academy St. Lucie, I have had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the transformative impact this program has had on our students’ social and emotional well-being. The essence of Movement & Flow lies in its holistic approach to fostering creativity, self-expression, and emotional intelligence through the arts. Each week, our students eagerly anticipate their sessions, knowing they are embarking on a journey of self-discovery and growth. Through a carefully curated blend of movement-based activities, artistic expression, and reflective exercises, Movement & Flow cultivates a safe and nurturing environment where students can explore their thoughts, emotions, and identities.
One of the most remarkable aspects of the Movement & Flow program is its emphasis on social and emotional learning (SEL). In today’s fast-paced world, where academic achievements often overshadow the importance of emotional resilience and interpersonal skills, Creative Kids recognizes the critical role SEL plays in shaping well-rounded individuals. By integrating SEL principles into every aspect of the program, students not only develop a deeper understanding of their own emotions but also learn invaluable skills such as empathy, communication, and conflict resolution.
Moreover, the incorporation of creative arts into the Movement & Flow curriculum serves as a catalyst for self-expression and self-discovery. Whether through dance, music, visual arts, or theater, students are encouraged to tap into their innate creativity and express themselves authentically. This process not only enhances their artistic abilities but also fosters a sense of confidence and empowerment that transcends the classroom.” – Heather Lieberman, Assistant Principal Somerset Academy Port St. Lucie
